PhDr. Zdeněk Vašek

Zdeněk studied psychology at the Charles University in Prague. He lectured general psychology at the Philosophical Faculty, collaborated with the Open University on the managerial trainings. He devoted all his career to study of emotions, emotional intelligence, nonverbal communication and lately personal intelligence. He is involved in the development and research of a method for measuring personal intelligence by John Mayer, a person associated with the beginnings of emotional intelligence. His many years of experience are used by various companies for standardization of psychological methods. Zdeněk is certified by the authors of the emotional intelligence method MSCEIT. He is also a co-author of the Czech version of the ISK test (Inventory of Social Competences).

In ACE Consulting his focus is on the psychological assessment of personality, especially in top management positions; he executes trainings and coaching in the field of management, personality, communication, motivation, emotions and emotional intelligence.

What have I been learning recently? I have been learning the topic of gratitude because it is an important part of human humbleness but at the same time a powerful medicine.

Where do I get inspiration and life energy? Usually where I can feel strong emotions. For me it’s mainly nature, movement, music and painting.
